Special Holiday Ornament Honors Historical Society
Milwaukee Downtown, Business Improvement District #21 has selected the Milwaukee County Historical Society’s headquarters as the subject for its featured holiday ornament for 2008.
The handsome hand-carved pewter ornament will be available for $19.95 plus $3.00 shipping and handling. The piece measures 4” x 2” and has a brief history of the building on the reverse side.
The Historical Society ornament is the eighth in a series dating to 2001. It joins other past honorees including Northwestern Mutual, Milwaukee Public Central Library, Milwaukee City Hall, Cathedral of St. John the Evangelist, Milwaukee Art Museum, Pabst Theater, and a downtown trolley.
