Kilbourntown Home Open House

Winter is coming, and the Kilbourntown House, the oldest house in Milwaukee, needs a new roof. This Saturday, visit the Kilbourntown Open House in Estabrook Park to witness for yourself the historical significance of this beautiful home. Consider how important it is to preserve this local landmark. Tours will be available for all visitors.

The cedar-shingle roof of Kilbourntown House in Estabrook Park is deteriorating and will no longer give the house adequate protection – especially during the coming winter. Roofers to the rescue! Please join a group of individuals and organizations in a campaign to raise $12,000 for a roof replacement.

This project can’t wait. Please act quickly to help preserve one of Milwaukee’s greatest historical and architectural treasures. Your contribution will be gratefully received.

Date: Saturday, October 27, 2012
Time: 10:00am – 2:00pm
Admission: FREE

Kilbourntown House is located in Estabrook Park. Turn north from Capitol Drive onto Estabrook Drive in the park. Go 1/4 mile and watch for the white-pillared house on the right. Parking in the lot is available.
