Historic Trimborn Farm in Greendale is accepting applications for its two debut summer day camps. Both last one week and are ideal for 7 to 11 year olds. These are fun and educational summertime experiences for the children in your life.

A Day in the Life: 19th Century Games and Chores is an all day camp, including lunch. The camp begins Monday, July 20 and ends Friday, July 24. Hours are 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Children will experience a bit of 19th century life. Everyone will perform 19th century farm chores, such as churning butter, carding wool, hauling water, and washing clothes. Since games and pastimes were an important part of daily life, campers will also play 19th century games like graces and hoops.
Folk Art & Crafts is a morning day camp from Monday, July 27 through Friday, July 31. Hours are 9 a.m. to 12 noon. Some arts and crafts practiced 150 years ago still thrive today while others have faded as pastimes have changed. Campers will learn from skilled artisans about the various historic arts and crafts of long ago. Campers will create their own artworks. Activities include beeswax candles, cornhusk or yarn dolls, and paper cutting.
