3rd Annual World War II Encampment
Saturday, June 15, 2013 – 10am to 4pm
Sunday, June 16, 2013 – Noon to 4pm
$5.00 for adults, $3.00 for students and seniors
Visit Allied and Axis camps, see weapons, military equipment and vehicles up close, and learn about World War II from re-enactors in period dress! Visit the U.S.O. Canteen in the Threshing barn and discover life on the homefront!
Special events throughout the weekend:
Saturday – 6:30pm to 8:30pm – U.S.O. Style Swing Dance with Greendale Village Swing Band – FREE
Sunday – Noon – WWII-era ladies baseball game in the East Field – included with admission (doors at 11:30am)
Sunday – 2pm – Learn about the history of the Milwaukee Soldiers Home and the VA Center with author Patricia Lynch
Ongoing tours at the Jeremiah Curtin House throughout the weekend!
